 When it comes to having a back up plan, we had a few ideas if something stops us and how we as a group can prevent things like it. Let's say we couldn't film due to the rain or any other weather problems. We can try our best to reschedule and get everyone back together again to film. Or maybe change the location to make everything more easier for us. Backups and archiving, disaster recovery, and business continuity are the three components of an effective backup plan. Backups and archiving on a regular basis should be your first line of defense. When data is created or modified, it should be backed up on a regular basis. And we will keep this in mind if we have to consider one. Despite the fact that we might not need one it won't hurt to be safe than sorry.   Within the opening scene of the film is an establishing shot. This establishing shot pans to the right and then tilts up to reveal the 2 characters. Both characters are seen in a medium shot to be in a conservation. As the scene continues the conservation becomes more heated and turns into an argument. The argument is shown through reverse shots which break once the MC runs off. As the MC is running we get an over the shoulder scene and a reveal of the SC chasing after her. As the chase is revealed suspenseful music begins to play softly. The MC begins to move faster in an eye level angle. As she runs the music gets louder and more intense. Then we get an angle of her hip and down to her foot that transitions into a low angel of her running. As she runs the camera tilts and close up on her face.  Now when entering the stage of creating a title design we have discussed the way we wished for things to be like. We did research on how title screens are made and best equipment would be needed to do so. I'm positive we can be able to do good with it, I do believe in Vanessa sills in editing. When doing research I found great advice on how a title screen should be made and I'll like to share some with you. With the advent of streaming technologies, skipping the title sequence and getting straight to the plot is now easier than ever. On Netflix, for example, all you have to do is hit the "Skip Intro" button and you're done. This might be discouraging for creators on the production side of things.   Title Website Research Hello again. Currently we are working on researching title sequences that are basically always in films. A title is an important part of a film. It lets you know the people who worked on said film. They tell who the important people are and give credit to them. They tell you about the producers, actors, editors,etc. They are way more important than they may seem. They also give you the vibe of the film. The people who create them try to make sure of that. For example take a horror film, they are usually scary so they will try to show that in the title sequence. They would use effects to also enhance the sequence.  For the final movie choice that we as a group has chosen, it will be Heathers. A classic among drama and mean girls themed movies. Though there is a play that came after movie, we won't be using any material from that but focus on the movies canon. The film follows four young girls in a clique at an Ohio high school, three of which are called Heather, one of whose lives is shattered when a sociopath arrives intent on murdering the popular kids and faking their deaths as suicides. "A picture is worth a thousand words," as the saying goes.   For the next movie that we decided to research in the thriller genre is Get Out. Get Out is a horror thriller that was released in 2017. A basic synopsis of the movie is that a black man is meeting his white girlfriends’ parents for the first Tim. He thinks that the reason that her parents are nervous is because of their interracial relationship. He soon discovers that isn't the case, and that her family transplants their brains into other people’s bodies to live longer as well as for their physical characteristics. So, he then must find a way to get out. The movies main message is about racism. The film consistently uses POV shots in order to put yourself in Chris’s (main character) position and look through his eyes.  For the first movie we researched, we watched Jurassic world. The movie is an action thriller that was released in 2015. The movie is about a resort that houses artificial dinosaurs that break free. The movie uses a lot of high angles, over the shoulder shots, wide shots, medium close up shots, and closes up along with extreme close up. For example the scene where the T-rex is attacking the sphere with the two boys begins with a tilt then a low angle as the T-rex is revealed. Then when the sphere is attacked and begins spinning we view an over the shoulder scene which transitions into a medium close up shot. The editing helps make these scenes more impactful. For example in the scene where Owen, the main character, along with two other workers are in a cage that actually had a T-rex in it.   After we have researched and thought about the three different genres we have come to a conclusion. Our conclusion is that thriller will work best for us. We had compare the pros and cons between the three and thriller came out with only one major con. The only con for thriller was the setting. Typically, thrillers are filmed in locations that are scary and suspenseful, we may not be able to achieve this effect. Simply because of the fact that we are high school students which limits accessibility and safety to remote locations. Similarly, horror has the same problem but to a more extreme. The biggest difference between horror and thriller, is that horror is far more gory which is why a secluded area is needed to not disturb passing civilians. While with drama, the genre is too character center which would complicate things. Horror would also suffer the same consequences since it would be very difficult to try to explain and film a murder scene within the two minute introduction ...

  Hello! Seeing as though we need a certain type of genre for our final task, my group an I had a dissuasion about it. We have different ideas in mind. One of those being a thriller. One of the main points of a thriller is to have the viewer at the edge of their seat. It needs to be exciting and or suspenseful. Some of the common camera angles that are present in a thriller are high angles, low angles, canted angles, wide shots, close ups and extreme close up among others. All of these angles can be used to create the suspense that is usually present in most thrillers. Some Mis-en scenes that are used in a thriller is for one the use of lighting. To make the viewer feel suspense the lighting would be more darker and not brightly lit. Also there will mostly be a setting that would make the viewer nervous. The next genre that our group settled on is Drama, there's a lot of drama shows that we all have watched and enjoyed so the genre seem like it could fit. When think about of shots that would be need if we chose to do a drama for our topic of interest. We expected that we would need Two Shots, Wide shot, Long shots when looking at the person and the locations t that they are in. Of course we knew that the shots and angles that are taken shows of the tension in the scenes so it is very necessary. We'll have a few images of people on the ground or in their beds where we'll only be shooting their faces or even their eyes through extreme close-ups.    One genre, we as a group researched was horror. We had been thinking about making one of our assignments one of horror since the music video. If we were to do a horror introduction we will need to include, a high angle, close ups, tracking shots, reverse shots, tilted angles, and low angles. Horror movies also tend to use hand held cameras especially during intense scenes. There is typically two types of horror costumes. One in which the character uses a childish aesthetic to hide their murderous intentions and then the other one is the serious side that is filled with more grays and blacks along with typical white masks.  We recognize that our original idea may not work for a number of reasons. Which is why we decided to come up with a back up plan. The back up plan will give off more of an isolated atmosphere. The idea is to film someone wearing ragged clothes and disheveled hair walking alone in an uncomfortable environment. We will have title captions appear on the environment in which they are running. We will use silence to help with the feelings. Then when the person steps on something breakable we will make it loud. At the end it will show the person chasing the other person then the name of the director will show. The person who is chasing after the other will wear a ski mask. Along with the reveal of the chaser we will have the silence break and be replaced with the runner breathing heavily.
