Drama Genre Blog
The next genre that our group settled on is Drama, there's a lot of drama shows that we all have watched and enjoyed so the genre seem like it could fit. When think about of shots that would be need if we chose to do a drama for our topic of interest. We expected that we would need Two Shots, Wide shot, Long shots when looking at the person and the locations t that they are in. Of course we knew that the shots and angles that are taken shows of the tension in the scenes so it is very necessary. We'll have a few images of people on the ground or in their beds where we'll only be shooting their faces or even their eyes through extreme close-ups. Their faces will be the only thing in the frame, but from above. The object/character is taken from above or at a higher angle in a birds eye or high angle shot. These are commonly employed to gain perspective or to convey that a character or object has less significance than another. But to go n more detail on what drama is in movies. Drama is characterized by stories with high stakes and numerous conflicts. They're plot-driven, and every character and scene must advance the plot. Dramas have a well-defined plot structure, depicting real-life settings or severe situations with emotionally charged characters.
