Group Blog


With the new assignment being assigned, I can't wait to start. Unlike last time which was for a commercial for a product, we are shooting a music video and boy I'm excited. I have so many ideas and song choices for this project that i don't even know where to begin. And also like last time , I chose to still work in the same group as before since we worked perfectly together last time and met our goals. I couldn't chose a better team to team up with than them. 

Shannon McCauley is a member of my group and an old buddy of mine whom I met in seventh grade. As I previously stated, we are really close, and we have grown closer over the course of the past academic year. She was a fantastic buddy back then and still is now, and I'm pleased to have her in my group because she is a hardworking and easygoing individual with whom I am confident we will get along swimmingly. She's a joy to work with and always has fantastic suggestions, and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do with our group. She came up with the concept for our group music video and was able to get everyone on board, which was incredible.

Zahra Bbrnard is another member of my team with whom I had a lot of conversations during a previous job, and I'm delighted I can call her a friend. We had so many things in common that it was astonishing to learn about it when I first spoke with her. She has so many fantastic ideas and we chat about how we can progress as a team in the greatest possible way moving forward. She appears to be a really easy person to work with, and she could be a nice buddy to keep. I can't wait to start filming the music video with her and her incredible qualities; I know it'll be a fantastic experience.

Vanessa Decimus is the final member of our group; I had the opportunity to get to know her better on the previous assignment, and she is one nice lady. We shared a lunch after Media Studies so that we could get to know each other better as persons in the same class. She's a fascinating individual who's easy to talk to and get your message through, and perhaps even brainstorm with regarding needed ideas. We were able to connect through a shared interest and possibly come up with some ideas for this music video. We all decided as a group that we wanted something with a horror element to it.

 To begin, I'd like to acknowledge that filming began and concluded today, and I couldn't be happy than I am right now. Now that it's over, I'm relieved of a lot of worry, and I'm looking forward to seeing everything edited. When we were trying to film, there were a lot of stressful and annoying moments, but I'm glad we were able to get through them. There have been so many issues involving groupmates being irritated by one another, and I'm glad we can finally get this resolved. I really didn't like staying after school to go to the park to film but hey it got the job done and I barely made it home before the sun went down so it was a win win. On both sides I'm sure all groupmates felt the same way about our plans on filming.  Props - For this music video, we decided on going for a story that follows a group of friends that slowly fall apart as one person drifts away. Since we want to capture a scene with the friends on the beach, beach towels, hats and beach balls will be present. Costumes - This part will be very easy in our opinion as we will have regular swimming wear or just causal clothing. Though their will be scenes that won't be on the beach so their might be changes in clothing. For the swimming wear, it will completely up to the actors of what they are comfortable on wearing this shoot. Nothing to covered or revealing will be disagreed upon as the actors concern worths more. I'm sure most outfits people would chose are short pants with a t-shirt.
