Editing Blog Day One

Our Team have started our editing process for our commercial, as its our final stage of the assignment. It's amazing how much we have come and can't wait for this all to be over. I handle so editing, as in I cut out a lot of useless footage that won't be used. I was also planning to be the one that's going to edit out all the sound but that is currently be discussed about throughout the group so we will see. I'm going to look for sounds for the commercial to edit into the commercial while my partners figure out the editing the clips in the right order. Personally, I don't have a lot of high hopes for this commercial as I did before, its because of some things that could have been better. After doing the filming process there's so much other scenes that could have been better than the ones we did but course its too late to change anything. But honestly its fine, I'll live and I'm sure my group don't mind the mishap with the clips. I feel like being the one who starts doing the heavy part of editing together as I have a small idea of what I will do. There's going to be a lot of editing to make this look presentable to submit, there's going to a lot of changing the color or atmosphere. Changing the saturation of the clips will be a good idea to give it  a childlike dreamscape to make it more appealing to the eye. I think the most funniest thing that would be in this process is recording audio for the commercial. One of my teammates suggested we make our own sound instead of sampling off the commercials for the Cray Cray Crayola sound. Really I can't do it as I wont be able stop myself from laughing at our ridiculous way of trying to copy the sound of excited children. It would be enjoyable to do though but I can't handle the embarrassment of knowing I did that. There's going to be a lot of music and leading to the point with the camera is what we will do for the everything. I think I would add the same music as the official commercial or just add music with a happy feel. Honestly I cant wait for us to be completely done with everything and to finally get a break of doing these blogs. As much as they are interesting to write but sometimes I would rather not do this as its getting tiring remembering that I have a blog due. But This is the end of the Blog and my journey for the first of two editing blogs and I'm glad we and I have come this far with everything, Thank you for reading and I'll see you in the next one.

 To begin, I'd like to acknowledge that filming began and concluded today, and I couldn't be happy than I am right now. Now that it's over, I'm relieved of a lot of worry, and I'm looking forward to seeing everything edited. When we were trying to film, there were a lot of stressful and annoying moments, but I'm glad we were able to get through them. There have been so many issues involving groupmates being irritated by one another, and I'm glad we can finally get this resolved. I really didn't like staying after school to go to the park to film but hey it got the job done and I barely made it home before the sun went down so it was a win win. On both sides I'm sure all groupmates felt the same way about our plans on filming.  Props - For this music video, we decided on going for a story that follows a group of friends that slowly fall apart as one person drifts away. Since we want to capture a scene with the friends on the beach, beach towels, hats and beach balls will be present. Costumes - This part will be very easy in our opinion as we will have regular swimming wear or just causal clothing. Though their will be scenes that won't be on the beach so their might be changes in clothing. For the swimming wear, it will completely up to the actors of what they are comfortable on wearing this shoot. Nothing to covered or revealing will be disagreed upon as the actors concern worths more. I'm sure most outfits people would chose are short pants with a t-shirt.
