Group Blog

 Hello, its me again, I'm here again to give a report back after officially meeting my teammates and believe me when I say they were very interesting. They weren't what I was expecting but I'm not complaining. I was able to make so much conversation with them and were able to create a good bond with them and maybe enough to call them friends. We talked on and on about similar interest we had in common and also talked about what we are going to do with our Commercial. I'm really loving the ides we came up with and still have a few mix feelings about things that we want to pursue and I'll work with on what I can get. 

Shannon McCauley is one of my group members and an old friend of mines I met in middle school of 7th year. Well I officially met her in 7th grade but I knew of her in 6th as she had a backpack of one of my favorite Musicians at the time, Melanie Martinez. She was a great friend back then and is still a good one now, and I'm glad to have her in my group as she is a hardworking and easy going person and I'm sure we will work great together. She's a very easy person to work with and have great ideas to give and I'm excited with what we can do together with our groupmates.  She came up with what our group commercial would be about and was able to get everyone to agree to it which was amazing.

Zahra Bbrnard is another member of my team and I was surprise to see how much we had in common and could easily communicate with each other. We have so many things we do alike that was so shocking to hear about it when talking to her for the first time. She has so many great ideas and talk about ways we can improve in the best of ways moving forward as a team. She's seems to be a very easy person to work with and maybe a good person to continue to be friends with after this assignment and outside of school. I cant wait to start the commercial filming process with her and her amazing attributes, I just know its going to be an great experience. 

Vanessa Decimus is the final member of our group and was the first one I talked to (outside of Shannon) and got to know her better. We shared a A Lunch after Media Studies so we were able to connect more as people being in the same class. She is a very interesting person to say at least, she's very great to talk to and get points across and maybe even brainstorm about needed ideas. Commercial Idea - Crayola is a object of what we all agreed doing for our commercial video and we all think it would be a easy process. Plus we all had Crayola play a big role in our childhood and we have seen enough Crayola commercials as a child to do this amazingly.

 To begin, I'd like to acknowledge that filming began and concluded today, and I couldn't be happy than I am right now. Now that it's over, I'm relieved of a lot of worry, and I'm looking forward to seeing everything edited. When we were trying to film, there were a lot of stressful and annoying moments, but I'm glad we were able to get through them. There have been so many issues involving groupmates being irritated by one another, and I'm glad we can finally get this resolved. I really didn't like staying after school to go to the park to film but hey it got the job done and I barely made it home before the sun went down so it was a win win. On both sides I'm sure all groupmates felt the same way about our plans on filming.  Props - For this music video, we decided on going for a story that follows a group of friends that slowly fall apart as one person drifts away. Since we want to capture a scene with the friends on the beach, beach towels, hats and beach balls will be present. Costumes - This part will be very easy in our opinion as we will have regular swimming wear or just causal clothing. Though their will be scenes that won't be on the beach so their might be changes in clothing. For the swimming wear, it will completely up to the actors of what they are comfortable on wearing this shoot. Nothing to covered or revealing will be disagreed upon as the actors concern worths more. I'm sure most outfits people would chose are short pants with a t-shirt.
