Filming Blog DAY ONE

Today was one of two days of production filming for our commercial, it went very well to say at least. As expected this was new to all of us and we had a lot of getting use to filming clips and doing retakes. The retakes were especially hard and annoying to keep doing as it took 10 takes to finish and capture a good running scene. But it wasn't nothing we cant overcome as a team that's in it to win it. Unfortunately, one of our teammates was absent today and due to this wasn't able to film with us. So there was a lot of moving around scenes to be able to get things done that didn't required her in. We hope that she will be back on Monday which is our last day filming and if she isn't present w have to move on without her and hope for the best for her. We really do hope she makes it for this we really don't want her to fail and especially not after all the work she did preparing for this. Anyway we are getting off tracked with this, Filming went surprisingly smoothly to say at least. We were able to get Three whole scenes don't and slightly edited which was huge for us to do in such a small class period. I'm really proud of my team and for what they did today, I knew from doing my first blog that they were going to be great and I'm glad I was proven to be right.

I was the camera person for most of the scenes filmed and was one of the people helping to create props. Of course, I'm going to be having scenes commercial as well but they take place towards the end. I'm also going to be one of the people who edits the video and make it come to life as a real commercial and I'm very excited for that stage in our work. Can't wait to see everything in its final glory. There was a lot of potential scenes that couldn't make it to the final cut, since we couldn't access one the places we wanted to films so we had to improvise. But everything just happened to work out so we will be doing okay. Still kind of upset that we couldn't film in that area as it was perfect from the start. And maybe this misshaped made us changed a lot and had to add some of our back up scenes but then again it was fine since we had this figured out. To be honest, this whole entire experience made us feel like real actors in real movies which is really exciting when you think about it. But of course this is where I bid you a farewell with this blog update, thank you for taking the time to read.
